When you're in demand to headline many of our major jazz festivals and play to full houses then your'e right up there! In keeping with our determination to bring the best bands and the best variety to Taranaki Jazz Club, Sunday, August 7th sees international recording artist of multiple genres - horns - flute - percussion and cutting edge soloist, Geoff Culverwell's VOSP (Very Special Old Pale) perform for us. They will be “delivering an equally exciting, eclectic mix of standards, Latin and Nu-jazz.”

He will be joined by Paul Dyne International recording artist, bassist to the stars and tutor to many of our finest. Duncan Haynes Keys, one of the worlds busiest and most sensational pianists, another international artist in his own right, has performed globally. Shaun Anderson a “modernist technician” on drums will steer the group through an exciting variety of swing, funk, and Afro-Cuban grooves.
